Book Title: The Crucifixion of Truth
Author: Tony Bushby
Subject: Religion, Christianity
Quase's Review: This book came as no surprise to me. Throughout my years I have heard and read many of the things referred to in this book about the inauthenticity of the Man/God of the New Testament and the corruption of the Catholic Church throughout the millenium.. To say that this book is controvertial would be a gross understatement. However, it is a facinating read for those who are truly seeking truth and a jumping board for further investigation. Mr Bushby discusses and brings sources to prove that Jesus Christ as we know him through the new testament was an individual that never truly existed and was created retrospectively by the Church. The book recreates the religious environments of centuries gone by and delineates the corruption of the Church and the how's and why's of the construct of the Jesus we have been taught about in sunday school, the Jesus that is generally accepted by the world.
This book comes highly recommened by Quase, but one must have a strong rooting in life to withstand the belief shattering ideas conveyed by Mr Bushby in this selection.
